Uniform Resource Locator It is often referred to as URL and it is the complete web address of a website. It is made of four different parts which include protocol, host name, port and path. For example, the url, reactdevsgather.org/sharingsession can be broken down into:

• https:// = method / protocol
• reactdevsgather.org= host name
• /sharingsession = path
